I am grateful that our fire department was introduced to Fire Blockade™. This fire extinguishing agent will save our department money, time, and piece of mind. I am astounded at how quickly Fire Blockade™ puts out the fire and cools the material it comes in contact with. You do not need special equipment, the product is not corrosive and it does not harm your pumps. Other products I have seen can't come close to the capabilities of Fire Blockade™.
I have seen first hand how the new, revolutionary product, Fire Blockade™, works. We had a fire in August early one morning at a furniture and carpet store and our group was in the rear where the carpet was burning. The fire was hot and burning high when one of the fireman asked 'Why don't we try the Fire Blockade™?'
We sent for the couple gallons that we had left and put one gallon in our five hundred gallon tank. We shut down the hydrant and sprayed the 0.2% concentration of Fire Blockade™ on the fire. This mixture knocked the fire down and where the Fire Blockade™ was applied it didn't come back.
So, then we installed the product in a hand-held foam pack and hooked it up to a line and sprayed hot spots until they were all gone. This knocked the fire down and helped us get it under control in a short amount of time. We have also used Fire Blockade™ on a house fire. I wasn't there, but, the firefighters on the scene said that the fire was knocked down and under control in considerably less time than using plain water.
I am amazed at what Fire Blockade™ is capable of. Our fire department will be proud users of this product and feel secure in the extra safety, cost savings, and efficiency increase for our firefighters and the citizens we serve.
As the Mayor of McCrory, AR. I am so proud of our dedicated volunteer fire department. We have 23 certified firefighters. On July 10, 2004, I was at the scene of a hostile house fire. When I arrived there were flames shooting high above the roof and surrounding trees were beginning to catch fire. Fire Blockade™ was sprayed on the fire and it was immediately brought under control. I have been associated with the fire departments for almost 20 years now. I have seen several different foams used which never help or even slowed fires down. Before we applied the Fire Blockade™, we could not get within fifty feet of the flames due to the intense heat. Fire Blockade™ cooled down things within minutes. In another situation was at a two-story house fire. We could not get the fire under control because we could not get upstairs to fight the blaze. I cannot tell you how much Fire Blockade™ has helped us in fighting fires that once were uncontrollable. This is the best tool that we can carry to any fire that we have.
